I'm feeling sad and disappointed over the location of tree plantings throughout my condo complex. In order to meet Metro Forestry's canopy requirement 27 - 2 inch caliper trees are being planted throughout our property to replace the removed trees that were necessary to complete the drainage projects in 2 areas. It breaks my heart that 5 trees were removed with only 2 trees to be planted in the courtyard in front of Units 68-77; an area that happens to be the longest courtyard in the Versailles Townhomes; yet two trees are replacing 1 tree removed tree behind Unit 54 courtyard area giving this small courtyard 3 trees and then to see a tree accidentally removed between the driveway and I440 being replaced., well I am just heartsick.
Below: these are just 2 of the trees removed in front of Units 68-77 ... and yes I am directly affected with the beautiful blooming tree removed was the view out my living room window.

Jill Markey
Markey is a seasoned talent who instantly communicates a passion for her craft to everyone who sees and hears her. She has performed for three past U.S. Presidents and has shared stages with the likes of Bobby Blue Bland, Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Frankie Valley, Sammy Kershaw, The Osmond's, and many more. She was recently chosen as one of the top five songwriters for Georgia's Songwriter Showcase Award. Her music has been featured on ESPN and seen success on various different music charts. Her band “Markey” is currently signed with blues record label I 55.
Stacie Collins Band
Harmonica blowin’ hell-cat STACIE COLLINS is a blazing a trail travelled by few women. Sporting a hard-core honky-tonk wail while backed by a slam-bang rock 'n' roll band, she weds Stones fried rock-n-roll, gut bucket blues and vintage honky-tonk. Produced by rock legend Dan Baird (The Georgia Satellites / Homemade Sin), her 2007 release, THE LUCKY SPOT became a fan favorite and received airplay world wide. Based in Nashville, TN, she tours the US, Scandinavia and Europe regularly and has even spawned a Japanese “Stacie Collins” tribute band.
Peter Moon Band
"The Peter Moon Band is kinda like Train, Tom Petty,Sublime and James Brown road trippin' with the Dalai Lama - Otis Redding is driving the bus!" (Dave Bartley, WKXD FM) The PMB is a great orignal band as well as a party cover band, playing 150 shows a year. Peter has written 4 albums and a rock opera with Peggy Frank over the last several years, selling over 10,000 units without a label deal. He teases Peggy that she is cowriting songs about herself. Drummer John Bartolotta and Bassman Doug Kennedy add the bump and grind to create the PMB's signature sound.
Rigby Boland Project
Sax player Jimmy Bowland of the Rigby Bowland Project tours with the Temptations, the Tuscaloosa Horns and Brenda Lee. The rest of the band is equally gifted and accomplished, featuring bassist Eric Stephens, drummer Steve Emmahauser, keyboardist Nic Wood and guitarist David Martin. This super tight 5 piece serves up cool jazz, sweet soul and hot funk in equal measure!
